Martin Dekeyzer

DEKEYZER, Martin of St. Thomas and formerly of London and Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 27, 2019. He was 87. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn DeKeyzer. Dear father of Mark DeKeyzer (Marcia) of London and Kelly DeKeyzer of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Martin, Cory, Deanna and Heather. Great-grandfather of Alexa. Brother of Jenny Irwin (Alvin Lindsay), Bill DeKeyzer (Janet) and Anne Silcox (Ron). Predeceased by his wife Deanna and brother Gerald. Step-father of Nancy (Dave), Dianne (Jamie) and Susan (Jim). Also survived by a number of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Zoelen, The Netherlands on August 14, 1932, son of the late Martin and Anna DeKeyzer. He worked at Ford Talbotville from 1967-1993. Martin was an avid stamp collector. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated.
