Junior Basketball season opens

Joel VanGeffen of Springfield Public School prepared to shoot on the host Summers Corners Public School net during the opening game of the Junior Basketball program for Elgin County elementary schools, Tuesday, March 18. The six-week season is open to boys and in girls in Grades 4 through 6, and is aimed at developing skills and a sense of fair play rather than competition.
