Unlocked cars equal thefts
Aylmer Police Sergeant William Gibson reported Monday, April 21, that several parked vehicles in the south end of Aylmer were broken into over the weekend, all of which had been left unlocked.
Youths were believed to have been “looking for quick money,” stealing loose change and, in one case, $300 in a church donation box Sunday.
Wallets had also been taken, and identification left strewn along the street.
