BRENDA MARACLE BUIS joined the great creator on May 23, 2024, after a long hard fight with alcoholism. In passing she is reunited with her husband Jim Buis. Cherished mother to MacKenzie and Trinity Buis, Brittany and Tory Marr, Jessie and Ashly Buis and Quincy Buis. Loving ‘Grandma Crazyhorse’ to 10 beautiful grandchildren, she will be missed by Iris, Violet, James, Parker, Grace, Norah, Miles, Jasper, Tyson and Jacob.

Born July 6, 1962, in St.Thomas, Brenda is predeceased by her mother Jean and father Glenn ‘Bob’ Maracle and brothers Glen, Shane, Greg ‘Duke’, and Shannon. Survived by her sisters; Sue (Pat), Linda, Wanda and Velda as well as mother-in-law Nellie Buis. She will be sadly missed by many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Brenda will be remembered most for her Firey spirit, spunk, quick remarks and colourful language. She was an avid reader, swimmer, knitter and sewer. Her creativity was unmatched as a leader of Beavers, and as a grandma. Most of all she will be remembered as a gracious cook, happiest when making giant hoagies for camping trips or feeding a large table of family and friends.

‘Brend’ will be missed by many friends who shared in many wild adventures over the years.

Rest easy Mom, you are loved.
