Henry Moosberger

Moosberger, Henry of Port Burwell passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin on Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was 86 years old. Beloved husband of Marlene(Burwell) Moosberger. Dear father of Dennis(Annette) and Kevin(Veronica. Cherished grandfather of Stacy(Steve), Craig(Katie), Kadi(Will) and Kaci(Michael) and great-grandfather of Olivia, Easton, Ava, Madalynn, Annie and Dorothy. He will be missed by his sisters Elizabeth, Peggy, Joanne and Elsie and long-time friends Dave and Jo Baxter. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ed, George, Paul, John, Bill and sisters Jean, Ann and Kay. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario on March 25, 1940, son of the late George and Regina Moosberger. Henry dedicated his life to farming, growing tobacco and potatoes with hard work, determination, and pride. Farming was more than his livelihood; it was the life he chose and the life he loved. He found great satisfaction in working the land and embraced the simple rewards it provided. Above all, Henry cherished his family, who, along with the farm, were the center of his life and his greatest source of pride. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 1-3:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Tillsonburg Cemetery.
