Robin DeLeemans-Willsey

On June 19, 2025, on the eve of the summer solstice—a time when the veil between worlds is thin—our beloved Robin Jean DeLeemans-Willsey completed her earthly journey, much like a wizard departing Platform 9¾ for her next great adventure;  Heaven gained a new angel.

Surrounded by her loved ones and faithful fur companions (her very own Patronuses, Eddie, Archie, and Freya), Robin crossed the enchanted threshold after a long and courageous battle with cancer, showing the bravery of a true Gryffindor. At just 32, she leaves behind her devoted husband, Jordon Willsey; her loving parents, Maria (Hoffer) and David DeLeemans; and her sister and lifelong best friend, Julie DeLeemans—along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were her chosen family.

A Hufflepuff at heart, Robin embodied kindness, loyalty, and a fierce love for all creatures. Her passion for animals and nature was matched only by her dedication to her community. She volunteered at animal shelters and the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, and was a brilliant third-year law student at Western University, proving that wit and wisdom were her wand and spellbook.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Welch and the oncology team at London Health Sciences Centre. Though Robin has left this realm, her light was no ordinary glow—it was *Lumos* in human form. Even now, her warmth, love, and legacy of kindness will continue to illuminate our lives, like a candlelit Great Hall, forever holding her memory close.

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” —And Robin’s light will never go out.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the causes dear to her courageous heart: Farley Foundation, Helping Paws Rescue or Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will be held at the H.A.
