Dennis Watson

Watson, Dennis Morley ofLondon passed away at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Saturday, September 26, 2026. He was 87 years old. Beloved husband of the late Marlene(Smith) Watson(2020). Loving father of Jeff Watson(Allyson) of London and Jana Watson of Welland. He will be missed by his grandchildren Maddie, Zach, Carlisle(Mac), Catherine(Jamie) and David(Jill). Brother of Doug Watson(Bonnie) of Tobermory. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Grant Watson, Lynn Watson and sister Audrey Paterek. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on August 2, 1939, son of the late William and Willow Watson.

Dennis began his career with Ellis-Don, where he worked on major projects including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the Skydome. He was meticulous in his work and took great pride in his attention to detail. A talented homebuilder and renovator, Dennis owned and operated Watson General Construction. He was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family, sharing his skills and helping with repairs and projects. Dennis and Marlene enjoyed many wonderful years together at their cottage on Dorcas Bay in Tobermory, where they made many special memories. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
