John Froese

Froese, John of Aylmer went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, at St. Catharines Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Anna (Friesen) Froese and the late Katharina (Bergen) Froese (1998). Loving father of Margaret Klassen (Jake) of St. Thomas, Henry Froese (Betty) of Luton, Ben Froese of Aylmer, John Froese (Rosie) of Aylmer, Helen Nichols (Rob) of St. Thomas and Jake Froese of Vancouver. Step-father of Nettie Herbst (late Eric) and Jake Friesen both of St. Catharines. Grandfather of Tammy (John), Lisa (Eric), Ashley (Kane), Jonathan (Courtney), Monique (Jordan), Vanessa (Garret), Whitney (Justin), Amelia (Jimmy), Nathan, Krystal (Marc), Justin, Carlos, Jasmine, Justice, Matt (Miranda), Diandra (Phill), Kristen (Richard), Jenifer, Emma and Megan. Brother of Helen Knelsen, Cornelius Froese (Elisabeth) and David Froese (Anna). He will be missed by 16 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jacob, Heinrich, Peter and Abram.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on December 3, 1935, son of the late Heinrich and Helena (Peters) Froese. John was a faithful member of the Bradley Street Church of God. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God, Aylmer on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
