LOCKEY, Rose Marie of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday May 30, 2020, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Lockey (2002). Dear mother of Jeaunitta Lockey (Mike) of London, and Lily Ralf (Darrel) of London. Dear sister of Betty Pendreigh (Late Bill), Gwen Owen (Late Ken), Donna Schmeltz (Randy), Velma Firby (Late Pete), brothers Roy Hainer (Trudy), James Hainer (Jackie), Archie Hainer. Loving Grandmother of Aaron (Crystal), Ali (Corey), Austin, Brook (Austin), Ashley (Dan), Tim. Also survived by a number of Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Edith Marie Lockey (1970) and a brother Donald ‘Hickory’ Hainer (2004). Born at Grovesend in Malahide Township on June 1, 1948. Daughter of the late Ray and Alma (McKibbon) Hainer. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. Marie will be remembered for her mischievous smile and stubbornness. A funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer when the COVID restrictions have been lifted.
