Irene Thomas

Thomas, Irene passed away at Terrace Lodge on Friday, April 26, 2024 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Thomas(2014). Dear mother of Sheila Wright(Mark) of St. Thomas, Vickie Smith of Aylmer and Ken Thomas(Deb) of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Josh, Keri-Lynn, Rebecca, Katie, Kelly, Kurtis and Aaron and great-grandmother to a number of great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers George Roberts of St. Thomas and Fred Roberts of Rodney. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son-in-law Al Smith, sister Mary Roberts and brother Dave Roberts. Born in Malahide Township on May 10, 1938, daughter of the late Maurice and Beatrice(Schram) Roberts. Irene worked at Beaver Lumber and Home Hardware building supplies for many years. She also owned and operated Creative Hands Crafts in Aylmer for many years.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
