Harry Heikamp

Heikamp, Harry of St. Thomas passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was 74 years old. Beloved brother of Thea (†2021) and Walter Glaw of Winnipeg, Fred(†2019) and Marg Heikamp of Burlington, Roy Heikamp of St. Thomas and Irma and Jan Reckman of Aylmer. He will be missed by an aunt Gé Heikamp and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in DenBurg, The Netherlands on February 12, 1951, son of the late Jacobus and Zwaantje Heikamp. Harry and Roy were always together; they operated Harry’s Upholstery in Sarnia. They had tropical fish and were members of the Sarnia Aquarium Society. They each had their own dog and spent their camping and recreation together. They loved to be in nature and go for hikes. Harry lived in Kettle Creek Residence in St. Thomas for a number of years, and since the fall of 2024 in Valleyview Home. We are very grateful to all those who lovingly took care of him. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Destination Church, St. Thomas on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
