Donald Fortey

FORTEY, Donald Earl passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Husband of Cathie Fortey (nee McCaw). Loving father of Brenda, Lisa, and Debbie (predeceased), and son-in-law Kevin. Also survived by step-sons Brent McCaw (Katina) and Dean McCaw (Charlene), and two sisters, Barbara Jennings and Marlene Steele (Jim).

Much loved grandpa to Jake (Vanessa), Charissa (Andrew), Dominic (Stephanie), Tyler, (Dawn), Matthew (Caitlyn), Dustin (Christa), Jesse, Zachary, Jade (Jordan), Bailey (Kaleb), and Rayna, as well as many great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the hospital plus Dr. MacIntyre and Dr. Keeler.

A celebration of life will be held at Cy’s Bowling Lanes and Lounge, 438 Talbot St. E., Aylmer on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1-4 p.m.
