Donna Tribe
Donna Tribe, of Aylmer, passed away at AgeCare Aylmer on Friday, March 20, 2026. She was 96.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Tribe. A loving mother to Harvey Tribe (Kathleen) of Aylmer, and Roxanne Husser (David) of Belmont, as well as mother-in-law to Christine Tribe, of Aylmer. Predeceased by her youngest son, Wendell Tribe.
She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Jennifer Tribe, Dawn Tribe, Dana Posthumus, Derek Husser and Amy Husser, as well as eight great-grandchildren and other extended family members.
Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, on June 10, 1929, she was the eldest daughter of the late Ralph and Olive (Wissen) Million. Sister to Don (Cheryl) Million and the late Wanda (Gerry) Taylor.
Donna was happiest when surrounded by family – the door of her home in constant rotation as relatives popped in for daily visits. She was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a volunteer with VON. She loved to cook, read, journal, knit and crochet, play cards, garden and spend time with her often-spoiled pets. She and Jack spent many happy years travelling in their RV, which included more time with family and friends.
Donna started out working in tobacco with her mother at Floyd Taylor’s farm, before spending more than four decades with CIBC at branches in both Straffordville and Aylmer.
Her family is grateful for the loving care she received in her later years during her time at Royal Oak Senior Living Centre in St. Thomas and at AgeCare Aylmer.
A memorial service by the Order of the Eastern Star, Vienna chapter, will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. with visitation to follow from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11 a.m. A private family interment at Straffordville Cemetery will follow the reception.
